Sunny Drilling and Completion System (SunnyDC)
The Sunny Drilling and Completion System (SunnyDC for short) includes three modules as shown in the following figure, and these modules share the same database:
The SunnyDC uses a plug-in framework, which has efficient and uniform database access capability and flexible module extension ability. New features or modules can be rapidly extended or developed using the same mechanism of database accessing, including customized report module and plotting module which meet the requirements of different companies.
SunnyDC has the following features:
1、Multi-language:it supports Chinese and English at present, and other language can be rapidly added as required.
2、Multi-unit system:it supports SI and API unit system, and also a customized unit system, user can define different measurement unit and counting precision for various parameters.
3、Data sharing:by using the same database, each module can access all datum of other modules, so when an entry is completed in a module, it can be accessed conveniently in any other modules.
4、Customized reports:it supports Word and Excel file format, and can be customized by user defined report templates.
5、Excellent Windows platform compatibility:it uses the .Net Framework 4.0 of Microsoft as the basis of development platform, and compatible with x86 and x64 operation system and mainly supports the following system: Windows XP SP3/ Vista SP1 or higher / Windows 7 or higher versions like Windows 8/8.1 and newest Windows 10.

6、Network support:SunnyNet is a network plugin of SunnyDC. After it is installed in a server, engineers in different places can use SunnyDC to carry out drilling design analysis simultaneously through the SunnyNet plugin. So, network version of SunnyDC facilitates users to manage dongles so as to avoid the trouble arising during the exchange and transfer of the dongle; meanwhile, the network version can be used as standalone-version while off-line, and in addition the database of network version is easy for data sharing, management, and statistical analysis.
